technology coordinator

overview:

The Technology Coordinator is tasked with supporting worship services and events in all technology needs. Trinity employees commit to representing the Trinity Values: Grace, Service, Generosity, Engagement, Faithfulness.

Director of Worship & Music

primary responsibilities:

  • Smooth operation of presentation, streaming, and sound technology during worship services and events. 
  • Set up and teardown equipment for services or events in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning and set up without safety hazards.
  • Support leadership by recruiting and training people to help with technology as needed.
  • Execute or train others in creation and updating of multi-media presentation prior to the service or event. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities based on needs of the church at direction of supervisor.

qualifications:

  • Knowledge and comfort in technologies; preferred experience with Pro-Presenter Multi-Media Presentation Software, OBS Streaming Software, and YouTube Streaming Platform.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as needed for the task at hand.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk (up and downstairs), twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods of time as well as the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Availability to work Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, holidays and special events as needed.

availability – part time:

  • 5-8 hours/week
