At Trinity Lutheran we welcome children of all ages as important members of the body of Christ. Trinity wants to partner with parents to connect kids to God's bigger story.
Children's Ministry supports the family in helping nurture Christian values and faith through Bible stories, activities at Trinity Kids, faith milestones, and special events.

June 7-10, 9am-NOON
Ages 3 (by June 1) through 4th grade — a jungle adventure exploring the nature of God. Plus, many volunteer opportunities for 5th graders on up.

A welcoming space for our youngest friends, with tables their size so they can still see and hear worship. There are many chairs nearby for parents to be with their kids while they worship. Includes coloring supplies, soft toys, and blocks — please help tidy up when you're finished!
trinity kids
Trinity Kids Sunday service program runs from Sept 13, 2026 through May 2, 2027, giving children ages 2 through 5th grade a rotation-style approach to learning Bible stories and connecting them to everyday life. Our goal is to build up faith in how we are learning to live a life of discipleship.
Each week includes Bible stories with monthly themes and key verses, relevant life applications, engaging videos, small group learning and activities, prayer, and milestone celebrations and Grow in Faith events (e.g., bible presentations and first Communion).

2026-27 milestones & grow in faith
We recognize important Milestones in the faith lives of children, and partner with parents to learn, grow, and celebrate these steps in children's faith journey. Milestones are recognized in worship on Sunday mornings and Grow in Faith events also happen on Sundays.

Welcome to Middle School (5th graders)
youth choir
Trinity Lutheran offers a wonderful opportunity for children in grades K-5 to join a weekly choir ensemble. The choir performs in worship once a month and on several special occasions throughout the year. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 4-5pm, with transportation available from Orono Public Schools directly to the church.
During rehearsals, students enjoy snack time together before gathering to explore their voices, create music, make new friends, and share the gift of praise. This enriching experience helps children develop their musical talents and become part of a welcoming community.

A fun ministry for 4th and 5th grade kids to grow in faith and relationship with one another. We meet the first Wednesday of each month from 5:15-6pm in the youth room, with devotionals, games, crafts/activities, a Bible lesson, and connecting with friends.

Crave VBS is an exciting, faith-filled week where kids discover what they're truly hungry for—Jesus. Through energetic teaching, hands-on activities, music, games, and small-group experiences, children learn to build a relationship with God and grow in confidence, kindness, and character.

Volunteers are essential to make VBS a successful and great week for our kids. We need help with decorating, at-home projects, crew leaders and week-of VBS helpers, supply donations, as well as set up and take down. Thank you for the ways you support this important and faith-impacting week for our kids.

2027 summer camps
We have a great opportunity for families to go to Bible camp as well as 1st-12th grade summer camp programs for kids/youth. Trinity partners with Camp Wapo in Amery Wisconsin to offer kids and families a variety of summer camp experiences. Registrations opens January 15, 2027 and spaces are held for Trinity until February 15, 2027.
