Ways to give

general operating fund

Your contributions support vital areas like ministry, outreach, facilities, and payroll needs. By investing in these areas, we’re able to expand our reach and engagement, fulfilling our mission to connect with people both near and far. To support the Operating Fund, click HERE.

Throughout the year, Trinity will focus on various Special Funds to support our Mission. Additional financial requests are presented during the Advent and Lenten Seasons.

giving methods

  • electronic giving |  make a secure donation HERE or simply text the word GIVE to 952-473-8577.
  • checks |  place in offering basket or mail to Trinity (2060 County Road 6, Long Lake, MN 55356)
  • IRA |  email Rindee Erdmann to provide details of the IRA check being processed to Trinity. Learn more about IRA tax-free distributions HERE.
  • stock |  donations of non-cash gifts such as appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual funds are welcomed by Trinity. Learn how to initiate your transfer HERE.

If you have given or plan to give to Trinity Lutheran Church this year, your company may match all or part of your gift. We invite you to help us extend the reach of your generosity by contacting the matching gift program representative at your company. More than 300 Minnesota Companies participate in a gift matching program, to see if your company participates, please view the list. year end

thank you for your year-end giving!

Trinity Lutheran Church documents year-end gifts in accordance with IRS regulations. NOTE: this year December 31 is on a Sunday. This means that any contributions you’d like to deduct for tax purposes in 2023 must be received by worship that day. Offerings sent via mail must be postmarked by 12/30/23. 

 

If you are making a stock transfer or a qualified charitable gift from a required minimum distribution, please contact Rindee Erdmann (952-473-8577 x136) to let her know, as your name will not appear on the security when it is transferred.  

 

As you make your gifts, be sure to indicate the amounts designated for 2023 Operating Ministry, and/or if you are making an initial gift for the Capital Appeal which will begin in 2024.
