Over the last year, we’ve embraced what it means to be a congregation that is Gathered Into One by God and in God’s name. We’ve discovered anew the power of community, connectedness, and calling. Together, we’re going where God leads, discovering along the way who we are as a body of Christ in this place.

It is this oneness – with God and with each other – that gives us immeasurable hope. Because the thing about hope is it produces more hope. The more hope we find in connection to one another, the more hope is possible for every moment ahead. Hope is a driving and sustaining power, a force that continually moves us forward toward that God-ordained future.

Hope is a precious gift to be tended and harvested. This gift is our collective motivation to seek the welfare of the place we call home and pray to God on its behalf (Jeremiah 29:7). It’s a gift that motivates us to feel the freedom and confidence to invest our whole hearts, our whole lives, and our whole beings into the calling of being God’s church in the world.

It is with this hope, and our calling to that one hope, that we embark together on another year of following faithfully where God leads. We need you. We need your hope, we need your calling, we need your faithfulness, and we need your generous spirit. And together, our oneness will move us ever forward, knowing God is above all, through all, and in all we do.
