— Meet Our Pastors —
Pastor Adam Butler
Pastor Adam was called to serve as Senior Pastor at Trinity in October 2021. He is married to Kayla, and together they have two beautiful kids—Madeline and Simon. A graduate of Wayzata High School, Gustavus Adolphus College, and Luther Seminary, Pastor Adam considers this part of Minnesota home.
Before coming to Trinity, he served as Associate Pastor at congregations in Sioux Falls, SD and Paynesville, MN, and also worked in Children, Youth, and Family ministry in various capacities. Building relationships and community is at the heart of Pastor Adam's ministry, along with proclaiming God's Word into the everyday and cultivating a spirit of outward expression of God's love and grace for all people.
When he's not at church, you can find him on the golf course, at an ice rink, or out on a pontoon. He couldn't be more excited to be part of what God is doing through and within Trinity.
Pastor Ann Fenlason
Pastor Ann has served as Trinity’s Associate Pastor since October 2018. She loves the people of Trinity and especially their heart for others—both within the congregation and in the wider community. Her ministry includes preaching and worship, pastoral care, and helping people find meaningful ways to connect with one another and explore how faith speaks to everyday life.
Pastor Ann took a rather circuitous route to ordained ministry. She earned a master’s degree in flute performance from Indiana University and taught flute at the University of Evansville and Interlochen Arts Academy. While teaching at Interlochen, she learned to fly airplanes, which eventually led to a new career as a flight instructor and then as an airline pilot. She flew passengers for Skyway Airlines and Midwest Airlines for 12 years before a downturn in the aviation industry led her in another direction—as a police, fire, and 911 dispatcher for the City of Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
It was during those years that ministry began to take shape as the next chapter. Pastor Ann returned to the Twin Cities, where she grew up, and attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul. Before coming to Trinity, she served Bone Lake Lutheran Church in Luck, Wisconsin.
Outside of church, Pastor Ann enjoys attending concerts at Orchestra Hall, floating on a lake in the summer, and diamond art painting. She still occasionally picks up her flute or piccolo to play with the First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band and shares her home with her cat, Lulu.
